Frances is a researcher and designer working on Gadigal land in Sydney, Australia.

She is undertaking her PhD at UTS with a focus on exploring the phenomenon of dressing the dead for burial. 

​

She has a Bachelor of Arts (History) from UWA and Bachelor of Design (Fashion and Textiles) from UTS. Her design work has been featured in online and print publications, and displayed at the Powerhouse Museum in 2o21 as a part of the Future Fashion Exhibition.

Her interests are in fashion, history, sustainable use of textiles, slow fashion, and socio-cultural phenomena related to dress.
