LUST SLUT is a womenswear collection is inspired by Victorian era pornography, and addresses the contradiction between photos taken of naked women being considered “art” but nude selfies deemed as vain and disgusting.

 

This collection celebrates female pleasure through poetry, imagery, and the sexual body. Using recycled domestic textiles and self generated print to convey the deep history of the silencing of female sexual pleasure.

Frances was inspired by Victorian era erotic photography and developed her textiles and prints using these photographs alongside self-produced erotic poetry. Through a clashing of colours and a re-purposing of traditional 'female' clothing, Frances generated an exciting and provocative capsule collection.
